Through the Lottery Act, 100% of the Lottery proceeds go toward the Lottery tuition fund.
 
 What do you get when you ask for "The Works"?
If you ask a New Mexico retailer for "The Works" you will get 5 games for $5. "The Works" is a set of five $1 Quick Picks and includes: One for Powerball, Mega Millions, Hot Lotto, Roadrunner Cash and Pick 3. "The Works" Can not be purchased Monday through Saturday nights from 8:00 to 10:00 pm.

 What is a Quick Pick?
"Quick Picks" are numbers randomly selected by the Lottery computer system for the specific game you choose.
 
 How long do I have until I must claim a prize?
All prizes in the New Mexico State Lottery must be claimed within 90 days from the date of the drawing or of the announced end date of a Scratcher game or the business day prior to the 90th day if the lottery is not open for business.
 
 If I win the New Mexico State Lottery can I remain anonymous?
Because the New Mexico is a government instrumentality and is under the Inspection of Public Records Act the law requires public access to virtually all public records including records about Lottery prize winners. Following the policy adopted by the New Mexico Lottery's Board of Directors, the Lottery will release a winner's name, city of residence and prize amount when requested.
